Chungbuk Free Economic Zone (CBfez), Northeast Asia’s BT·IT Business Hub
Located in the central inland region of Korea, Chungbuk is a major transportation hub with the shortest travel times to all parts of the country. It serves as the core of IT and BT convergence industries, having built clusters of next-generation strategic industries such as solar energy, semiconductors, and biotechnology. It is also emerging as a hub of the Northeast Asian aviation maintenance (MRO: Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) industry — this is the Chungbuk Free Economic Zone (CBfez).
