With the number of new confirmed cases continuing to exceed 50,000 cases a day since Feb. 10 and exceeding 100,000 cases for the first time on Feb. 17 due to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant, experts expect up to 180,000 confirmed cases a day by the end of February. Second, visitor logs that track close contacts, such as call logs and handwritten logs, will be temporarily suspended, while visitor logs through QR codes will be maintained to check vaccination status at facilities that require vaccination.
