CBFEZ Holds Venture Capital Matching Investment Briefing Session
-Support for innovative growth of tenant companies in the Chungbuk Free Economic Zone- The Chungbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (hereinafter referred to as "CBFEZ") announced that it held the "CBFEZ Tenant Companies Venture Capital Matching Investment Briefing Session" on December 16 at the Osong Vincent Hotel, attended by tenant companies seeking investment and venture capital professionals specializing in investment. Hosted by CBFEZ and organized by the Korea Materials, Parts and Equipment Investment Institutions Council, the event brought together approximately 50 participants, including representatives from 10 tenant companies (including PF Nature Co., Ltd.) and 10 venture capital investment institutions. The session was held to: ▲address the difficulties of tenant companies in raising funds and explore investment support measures, ▲increase understanding of government investment-attraction support programs, and ▲promote investment activation by building networks between tenant companies and investment institutions. CBFEZ has continuously worked to build a strategic investment environment by establishing domestic and international investment attraction networks, expanding infrastructure to improve settlement conditions, including the establishment of an international school and development of an AI data center, and advancing projects to build ecosystems for key strategic industries such as bio, aviation, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. Building on this foundation, the briefing session focused on providing practical support for companies that chose to locate in the Chungbuk Free Economic Zone as an attractive investment destination. CBFEZ arranged tailored venture capital matches suitable for each company's characteristics and growth stage and conducted intensive one-on-one investment consultations. In addition, the event featured technology presentations and corporate promotions by promising tenant companies in the Free Economic Zone, guidance on investment attraction support programs by the organizing council, and advisory sessions on global market entry strategies. Through these efforts, CBFEZ expects to strengthen the competitiveness of tenant companies in attracting investment and expand capital inflows. CBFEZ Commissioner Choi Bok-soo said, "Going forward, CBFEZ will continue to provide unwavering support so that our tenant companies can grow into globally competitive, world-class companies through ongoing communication and cooperation." He added, "We hope this briefing session will serve as a catalyst for both companies and people to gather in Chungbuk and Osong." |
