- CBfez signed a business agreement with six major beauty societies

At the Osong C&V Center on the 23rd, CBfez (Director General Jeon Hyung-sik) signed a business agreement with six major domestic beauty-related societies* for cooperation for the Osong International K-Beauty School (hereinafter referred to as K-Beauty School)
*The Korean Society of Aesthetics, Korean Society of Investigative Cosmetology, Korean Society of Beauty and Art, Korean Skin and Beauty Professors Council, Korean Makeup Professors Association, and Korean Beauty Professors Council.
This agreement was intended for the successful establishment, promotion and operation of the K-Beauty School, which is scheduled to open in 2024, through cooperation between CBfez and the six major domestic beauty-related societies, including △ sharing of industry-university-research information and a global cooperation network, △ cooperation for the opening of the K-Beauty Expo, △ development of educational programs and contents, and △ support for manpower training.

The design of the K-Beauty School, which will be established on the fifth floor (total floor area of 8,900 m2) in the planned site of the Cheongju Exhibition Hall adjacent to Osong KTX Station, will start this year with the aim of opening it in early 2024.

The K-Beauty School will promote projects such as △education for foreigners who want K-beauty education, △strengthening the professional competency of beauty-related department graduates, △supporting youth start-ups and overseas employment, and △ re-education on trends for general practitioners. In addition, it is expected to greatly contribute to the revitalization of the Cheongju Exhibition Hall by attracting various events such as beauty skill competitions, beauty expos and symposiums in connection with the exhibition hall.

CBfez expects that it will serve as a bridgehead for K-beauty to enter the global market and expand its influence, playing the role of an export platform for domestic beauty manufacturers.

CBfez Director General Jeon Jeong-sik said, “Through this agreement, we will pave the way to get full support from beauty experts from various circles for the successful establishment of the Osong International K-Beauty School.”
